The changes will likely just be lag improvements (the changes to aoe skills were to make it easier to compute, not because skills were unbalanced). Its unlikely anything else will really be changed.
The last of us first released on PS3. Then the last of us remastered came out when the PS4 was released. The last of us part 1 is the same game but remade from the ground up.
